Shout! TV is thrilled to announce that starting May 1, the celebrated sketch comedy series “The Whitest Kids U’ Know” will be available for streaming on its ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) platform. This marks the first time the series will be accessible for free streaming, featuring beloved sketches like ‘Gallon of PCP’, ‘Opposite Day’, ‘Good Business’, ‘Hunting Accident’, and many others.
In addition to the series, viewers can enjoy “The Civil War on Drugs,” a feature-length compilation of sketches from the show’s fifth season that has captivated audiences with its unique humor and creativity.
A Cult Classic Revisited
Originally aired between 2007 and 2011, “The Whitest Kids U’ Know” was created by Zach Cregger, Sam Brown, Timmy Williams, Darren Trumeter, and the late Trevor Moore. The series quickly became a cult classic, known for its irreverent and boundary-pushing comedy. Reflecting on the series’ return, Sam Brown expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Shout! Studios to reintroduce their work to both loyal fans and a new generation of viewers who previously may not have had the chance to experience the show.
Fans can also look forward to a comprehensive box set from Shout! Studios, which will include the never-before-released Seasons 4 and 5 on disc, along with new bonus content set for release later in 2024. Further details about this exciting release will be announced soon.
New Projects on the Horizon
Adding to the excitement, the team behind “The Whitest Kids U’ Know” is also celebrating the upcoming world premiere of their new film, “Mars,” at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. Written and starring Sam Brown, Zach Cregger, and the late Trevor Moore, the film follows Kyle, a man disillusioned with his predictable life path who enters a contest to travel to Mars, only to find himself amidst chaos and comedy far from home.
