STEVE JOBS: MAN IN THE MACHINE REVIEWED
“Steve Jobs: Man in the Machine” is a serious look at the life of Steve Jobs. While the negatives of Jobs’ output and business sense get tackled haphazardly, Gibney was awfully fair in his documentary. You get the usual talking points about Lisa, screwing over Woz and manipulating personal stock info from Apple. But, it’s handled in a way that’s easily researchable and backed up by proven fact. I wanted a little further study of the shadier parts of Jobs at the end of his first Apple tenure and how his business practices branched elsewhere. While that’s only interesting to a business nerd, I still feel like we could’ve received a taste of that.
