SICARIO: DAY OF THE SOLDADO REVIEWED RATHER FAST
“Sicaro: Day of the Soldado” is an interesting sequel to Sicario. Choosing to focus on the scene-stealing Benecio Del Toro felt smart. However, certain viewers still had trouble with a border film like this existing in the current political climate. If you take it on face value, it’s a film about a hitman finding his humanity in the face of an oppressive DEA. From there, you’ll have further trouble buying how many times Del Toro can be shot and still live. If that’s interesting, then check it out at the dollar theater.
