THE PRISON REVIEWED
“The Prison” finds a South Korean prison being used a criminal syndicate front. Criminals go into prison to use it as a getaway where they can stage bigger heists. Now, a former police inspector has to find a way to beat the system and save the day. What kills me about this movie is the setup is so amazing. But, it loses its way about 30 minutes into the movie. The action is good and the film is amazingly staged. It’s just that nothing ever comes together.
I love the Asian cinema that Well Go USA brings to our shores. However, I don’t get why this film was feature length. Take that for what you will.
