INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3

[text_block_nav title=”Done in 100.”]”Insidious Chapter 3″ is a prequel to the first movie. This one takes place in 2008 and goes out of its way to setup every detail of the first two films. Lin Shaye also shows that she has serious genre chops, yet somehow never got her due. Well, unless you count her old Yenta turn in “There’s Something About Mary”. The scares are plentiful, but few land with any real satisfaction. I find myself interested by Stefanie Scott, but not enough to say that she saved the film. Still, I’ll watch her career with great interest. Cue my Palaptine style theme and I’m done.[/text_block_nav]
