“Inside the Court of Henry VIII” was an hour long documentary about how Henry VIII’s court created a level of religious persecution and vendetta rarely seen in a Head of State. What follows is an amazingly recreated look at what caused Henry VIII to turn from beloved Prince into what amounts to a British Mob War Chief. The focus on Thomas Wolsey and Thomas Cromwell didn’t feel that detailed, but you get the sense of their later importance. More than anything, I’d recommend this documentary as an intro to this period of British History. Any with a bit of advanced knowledge will not dig this release. The DVD comes with no special features.
