“In Their Own Words” highlights Muhammad Ali in this hour long documentary. Growing up in this city, the guy gets about as much coverage as fried chicken and horse racing. While the stuff with the Olympics, the objection to Vietnam and his later wins might be new to some, it’s been done before. Hell, Michael Mann made a rather mainstream movie about it. But, that was 14 years ago and I’m convinced that my readership is 12 years old. The DVD comes with no special features.
