Heavy Trip shows that Finland is the only place still doing Metal right. The film follows a band playing their first real gig the right way. The drummer is an escaped mental patient, they’ve stolen their tour van and they might have a corpse in tow. The police give chase, but it doesn’t matter. This is the land of Ice and Snow. Metal is their only God and the Holy Spirit of Dio will guide them on their way to rock immortality.
