“Flamenco, Flamenco” is a look at the history of the Flamenco. Spanish culture floods every image of the film. Naturally, I was left confused and wanting to understand the staging of the performance. If you expect solid answers behind the dance and its art, it’s not going to happen. More than anything, it’s a meditation on the process.
The DVD comes with featurettes, interview and a trailer as the special features. The A/V Quality is strong enough for standard definition. The same can be said for the Dolby 5.1 track. While it’s not going to wow the home theater enthusiasts, it’s enough for casual viewing. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase.
