GIRL FLU REVIEWED
“Girl Flu” is a pretty typical indie film. While our heroine is a 12 year old coping with her hippie mom, she does it with out being precious. Bird is a young girl who just wants to make things work in a way that a kid could understand. Unfortunately, Starbuck can’t get it together. The film was frustrating for the last half, as I kept wanting to see something beyond the typical melodrama. I never got it. If that sounds like a thing that would bother you, then you’ve got your answer.
