NAVY SEALS V. DEMONS REVIEWED
“Navy Seals v. Demons” finds three Texas military good ol’ boys taking out Demons. These demons are piggy guys, so I’m not sure what’s up with the cover art. Parts of the film play like that new wave of Religious Exploitation. There’s a lot of good ol’ boys, religion and barber shop talk before Satan’s piggy minions take on the forces of good. Apparently, this film is part of a series.
Given the level of world-building, I don’t know what that says about a world with these religious underpinnings. How can a God exist in a world beset by Supernatural forces? Are these Navy SEALs part of an elite task force sent to fight demons on behalf of the real America? It’s a mess, but it makes sense to the target audience.
