“Virtual Revolution” is a MMORPG disguised as a Sci-Fi film. People function as hybrids in the real and online world, as various characters try to solve the mystery of their brave new arena. You can roll the dice and hit upon various dystopian fiction tropes. There’s a killer virus, lost love and a lead character that’s edgy and mysterious. Nothing ultimately matters, as this a Francophile enriched visual treat. Jane Badler proves there is life after “V”, as she keeps up the plot.

If you dig cyberpunk stuff, this will be up your alley. Otherwise, you’ll feel yourself aging by decades while watching this movie. I’d love to come back to it in a few months, but there’s nothing here that really blew me away.
