The film repeats itself a lot, but I feel that’s an effort to show off the zombie creations. You can’t fault an indie filmmaker for pulling out a trick that most classic horror types knocked down. It’s just that after I finish the film, I’m left impressed by the gore and not by the script. It took two more viewings before I could see what was going and I started to wonder if I was watching a large modern zombie cliche.
Does the need to create melodrama overpower the general sense of horror? I guess that people would come together in the face of the Apocalypse. But, I’d like to see more dread panic instead of loner cliches and the need to bone while gore monsters loom in the distance. Still, I enjoyed it.[/text_block_nav][text_block_nav title=”Conclusion”]
