“The William Castle Collection” is promising in theory, but I’m left scratching my head. What we have is a collection of 5 semi classic Castle works from 1960-1963. You get 13 Ghosts and 4 minor hits, but you don’t get a proper sense of history. There is so much room for special features and material about these releases. Also, what’s up with no Blu-Ray releases?
I get that Mr. Sardonicus was already release on Blu, but collectors are going to drive the demand for Castle. Prep something on par with the Vincent Price Collections that Scream Factory released. Classic horror deserves the effort. The DVD comes with no special features. However, the A/V Quality is pretty strong for standard definition. I’ll be waiting for a Blu release.
