“When The Checks Stop Coming In” is a fun documentary that looks at what happens to black celebs when they go broke. The film bounces between interviews with Toni Braxton, Wesley Snipes, MC Hammer and Dennis Rodman. I really love what Moguldum is doing with their documentaries. However, I don’t ever feel like I’m seeing anything outside of a TV special. If you don’t feel like going on Wikipedia to learn about these guys, I recommend picking up the DVD. The disc comes with deleted scenes as the special features.
