“Supercar” was the first Gerry Anderson marionette series and it shows. The series is a mix of Mad Science and Spy Fiction. But, it has a monkey that steals focus all of the time and starts slipping into Team America territory. While I feel like I’m glazing over this material, I promise that we have a giant spiel coming on Thunderbirds soon. Stay tuned, Gerry Anderson fans.
The DVD comes with an interview, featurette and commentary as the special features. The A/V Quality is typical for this kind of release. However, I would’ve loved to have seen an HD transfer for the release. The Dolby Mono track is strong for its age. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase to fans.
