SUPER SENTAI KAKURANGER REVIEWED
“Super Sentai Kakuranger” gets a complete series release and I can’t tell it apart from any other Super Sentai or Power Rangers release. I think one was different and had dinosaurs, but that might be Beast Wars. I get the Eastern appeal to the Weeaboo out there, but it’s not working on me. This is coming from a guy that grew up on the best and worst that Toei and Toho threw out to the world. So, what does this mean for you?
These kinds of shows are material that I approach rather cold. For a series that ran nearly 17 hours in completion, it’s almost unapproachable to anyone but the dedicated Asian market and 10 year old Western boys. TV spectacle being what it is, I just don’t have enough oomph to stick with the show. Hopefully, this is the final iteration or it could be the 8th of 140. I can’t follow it.
