“Seashore” is about two male friends discovering a mutual attraction while hiding their true feelings. They travel to Brazil to sort out a family matter, while bonding in a seaside cottage. The film runs under 90 minutes, so it doesn’t overstay its welcome. Still, it’s a lot of dialogue about nothing in between staring and meaningful yearning. I totally felt guilty about going to sleep during it.
The DVD comes with no special features. The A/V Quality is strong for an indie flick. The transfer is pretty standard for an indie release. The Dolby track still falls a little flat. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase to the curious.
