Legendary California punk rockers The Adolescents have announced a new studio album titled Caesar Salad Days, due out July 14, 2023 on Frontier Records.
Marking their 11th LP, Caesar Salad Days arrives just before the band’s 43rd anniversary and sees them as fiery as ever with 15 blisteringly fast hardcore tracks. Founding vocalist Tony Reflex funded recording during the pandemic by auctioning personal items when tours were cancelled.
Produced by rock veteran Scott Reeder (Kyuss, Fireball Ministry), the album pays tribute to late guitarist Steve Soto and collects live staples and rare cuts fans have long coveted. The cheeky title was inspired by a joke on their tour van.
Caesar Salad Days captures The Adolescents’ aggressive punk energy and irreverent spirit. It follows their seminal 1981 debut The Blue Album, which helped define the SoCal hardcore scene and inspired bands like NOFX, Face to Face, and The Offspring.
The Adolescents will celebrate Caesar Salad Days with tour dates starting July 14th in Garden Grove, CA.
Catch these punk legends back in their classic form when the album drops next week on Frontier Records, available on vinyl/digital formats.
