POWER RANGERS: CHOJIN SENTAI JETMAN: THE COMPLETE SERIES REVIEWED
Power Rangers returns with Chojin Sentai Jetman. Well, you can’t really return with it was a past iteration. Let’s try that one again. Enjoy your chance to see the 15th iteration of a show that debuted a few years before Power Rangers took off. This time, it’s a bunch of sky pilots trying to fight bird waves or something. The DVD set includes all 51 episodes before the franchise started turning into what became Power Rangers.
Still, I enjoy watching the Japanese iterations because they feel less goofy than the American cousins. I know that sounds weird about a show where brightly colored rangers shoot things, but I’m picking that hill to die on today. The material is pretty interesting, but I was shocked they were able to stretch a B plot from a 70s Godzilla movie this far.
