Possession is another slightly supernatural drama that came and went. MVD’s continued dive through the Yari Film Group is unearthing tons of films that I never knew existed. So, what am I to make of this Sarah Michelle Gellar star vehicle? Outside of Lee Pace constantly outshining her, there’s not a ton to pin down. Sounds cool, huh?

Sarah Michelle Gellar does her best in Possession. But, the story is incredibly thin. A weird coma puts Gellar’s husband and his brother into comas. But, what happens when the brother-in-law wakes up claiming to be the husband? It’s the freakiest of Fridays as the once and future Slayer tries to make sense of what’s going on.

The Blu-ray comes with a making-of featurette, trailer and deleted/alternate scenes. The A/V Quality is super average. I wish we had something slightly better, but I dig it. Check it out if you’re a Gellar fan.
