NATURE’S MIRACLE ORPHANS

Furry orphans are adorable.

Maybe Disney was onto something.

“Nature’s Miracle Orphans”  is a two-part mini series dedicated to the little animals that lose their mothers early in life. Due to the intervention of well trained caretakers, we watch as baby bats, marsupials and other creatures are saved from certain death. It’s far more entertaining than the previous PBS documentary “Young and Bound to Die”. I appreciate the tonal shift and the cute baby sloth named Newbie. Just look at the face on the box art. If you were an apex predator, you’d marvel at the cuteness before chewing its face off for sustenance. The DVD comes with no special features.
