Vertical Entertainment has successfully procured the distribution rights for North America, the United Kingdom, and Ireland for the gripping horror film “Natty Knocks”. This spine-chilling masterpiece comes from the mind of the famed director of “Halloween 4”, Dwight H. Little. The script was crafted by the talented Benjamin Olson and boasts an iconic cast, including horror legends Bill Moseley from “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2”, Danielle Harris of “Halloween” fame, and Robert Englund, known for “A Nightmare on Elm Street”. The film is set for a day-and-date release on July 21st.
“Natty Knocks” brings together an impressive lineup of actors including Moseley, Harris, Englund, along with Charlotte Fountain-Jardim known for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, Thomas Robie from “Insidious: The Last Key”, Noen Perez of “Grace and Frankie”, and Jason James Richter, recognized for “Free Willy” and “The Little Things”.
The plot unfolds on Halloween Eve, where Britt Henderson (played by Fountain-Jardim), a babysitter in a small town, and the children under her care must fend off the terror wrought by the serial killer Abner Honeywell (portrayed by Moseley), the son of a B-movie horror legend, who is unleashing havoc across their town.
The film’s executive producers include Amit Sarin and Vineesha Arora Sarin, while the production was helmed by Jason Richer and Sandy Little.
Tony Piantedosi, Vertical’s SVP of Acquisitions, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “Natty Knocks captivated us immediately, owing to its assembly of legendary horror figures who have shaped the genre over decades.
