“Amazing Word Explorers” is a great Leap Frog release. This entry tends to lean itself to song way too easily. That being said, I did appreciate the effort to share stories about how each kid approach their learning style.
LeapFrog educational toys are becoming ubiquitous, and many kids easily recognize the frog family, comprised of Leap, Lily and little Tad. Now these letter-teaching tots appear on home video and DVD, in a surprisingly memorable story that effectively teaches young children to associate letters with their basic phonics sounds.
The DVD is full of some videos and commentary. The sing along videos are fun and provide for a few hours of entertainment for kids. They’d be better off sticking to their Leapfrog learning devices. Still, I’d recommend it for a purchase.
