KUNG FU TRAILERS OF FURY REVIEWED
“Kung Fu Trailers of Fury” is a compilation of Kung Fu trailers discovered in a theater in England. Each short trip back in time has been restored to near pristine quality. It’s weird talking about two hours of films that I’ve seen, since we could be hear all day breaking down why they matter. So, let’s try this. Watch about 30 minutes through the material and find the trailer for “Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow”.
Not only is it the greatest Jackie Chan film ever made, it’s also one of the most bootlegged and edited Kung-Fu films of the 1970s. Seeing the highlight reel for the film cut with those awesome 70s stings makes something happen in the depths of my heart. True happiness is rare when you experience as much film as I do. But, there’s moments where your personal favorites smack you right in the kisser. This disc is that for me.
