“It Happened Here” takes a look at the sheer volume of sexual violence on college campuses. Talking to five students at three colleges, the notion of rape culture is put to task. What’s sad is how common these stories have become and how most audiences will feel that they have heard it before. The documentary runs at a quick clip of 75 minutes, but the material just kills your day. In that sense, I guess it did its job. The DVD comes with a trailer and resources to help college-aged victims of rape.
