THE HUDSON RIVER SCHOOL REVIEWED
“The Hudson River School” emerged as the first American school of landscape painting. Cole, Durand and Cropsey led the movement of creating paintings for dermatologists’ offices. While technique and style is discussed in great detail, I feel like it could’ve stood to be shorter chunks cut to focus on specific artists. Naturally, the DVD comes with bonus footage that I struggled to stay awake while watching.
