Oscar winner Hilary Swank returns to the big screen in the intense crime thriller The Good Mother, coming to theaters September 1st.
Swank stars as Marissa Bennings, a journalist who teams up with the pregnant girlfriend of her murdered estranged son to investigate a dangerous criminal underworld.
Directed and written by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte, The Good Mother also stars Olivia Cooke, Dilone, Hopper Penn, Norm Lewis, Karen Aldridge and Jack Reynor in the gritty dramatic tale.
After her son is killed, Marissa’s only lead is his girlfriend Paige (Cooke) who has vital information but is unwittingly drawn into a world of corruption herself. Together the two women confront seedy characters and deadly secrets.
