“Haven” picks up after William was defeated last year. Nathan and Duke realize that their Audrey is gone. But, I’m a fan of Mara, even though she’s a total villain. The constant personality and identify shifts might be hard for casual viewers. But, if you’ve made it this far, you should be paying far more attention. I can’t give Emily Rose enough credit for killing it in the series lead.
That being said, the show is starting to approach a definite finale. There’s no need to keep extending the show’s life and running out of plot. Once the issues with the Void and Mara are totally resolved, that’s about it for Haven. Hell, just be glad that you got this far with it. Five seasons is more than most SyFy shows ever receive.
The Blu-Ray comes with featurettes and commentary as the special features. The A/V Quality is on par with past releases. The 1080p transfer is far more supportive than expected. The DTS-HD 5.1 master audio track keeps all channels flowing. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase.
