Gamera vs. Viras might be my favorite Gamera film. Why? Well, because it dispenses with trying to be a monster movie and turns into a kid friendly romp. Viras is a hive collective of squid aliens pretending to be human. Once they are exposed, they merge into the giant alien threat and begin attacked Gamera. What follows is some young kids working together to save the day. The alien design is cool, but that’s all I really have.
