Dive under the sea for a fantastical coming-of-age adventure when DreamWorks Animation’s Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken arrives on digital platforms July 18, 2023 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
Directed by Croods veteran Kirk DeMicco, this animated comedy follows shy teen Ruby who discovers she comes from a lineage of mythical royal sea krakens. As Ruby learns to harness her mystical abilities, she must also navigate high school and protect her true identity from her popular “frenemy” Chelsea – who is secretly a mermaid.
Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken features the voice talents of Lana Condor, Jane Fonda, Toni Collette, Annie Murphy and more. With its vibrant underwater settings, marine creature hijinks, and relatable teen story, it promises animated fun for the whole family.
