The film originally premiered on October 22, 1999, marking the fourth collaboration between Scorsese and screenwriter Paul Schrader, known for their work on Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. Nicolas Cage delivers a gripping performance as Frank Pierce, a Manhattan paramedic struggling to maintain his sanity over three tumultuous nights. Newly Remastered Release
The remastered edition has been meticulously restored from the original camera negative and reviewed by Scorsese, cinematographer Robert Richardson, and editor Thelma Schoonmaker. As part of the Paramount Presents line, this must-own two-disc set includes the film on 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Atmos® and on Blu-ray.
