Cleopatra Entertainment will release DARK SANCTUARY: The Story Of The Church on January 21, 2024. This documentary, produced and directed by Timothy Stevens, explores the infamous Dallas goth club and the unique community that thrived there.

The film’s title track, co-written by cEvin Key, reflects the significant impact the club had on its patrons and the creative community it fostered. The documentary features Joe Virus, the club’s longtime DJ, detailing his journey from the club’s early days in the 90s to its closure during the pandemic. His story captures feelings of loss and alienation at the end of an era.
Festival Success
DARK SANCTUARY has received rave reviews after being selected for the Dallas International Film Festival and the KNON Film Festival. It continues to tour the international film festival circuit, with more selections to be announced.
