A Dark Place is a film about a loner weirdo’s obsession with a missing boy. They were pals before the kid went missing and the weirdo had nothing to do with it. At least, that is what he seems to be telling everyone. Curiosity pushes the story forward, as no one seems to know the truth behind anything.
I dug the movie’s style, but it still moved super slow. I’m not terribly familiar with anyone in the movie, but I feel like a commentary could’ve helped me to understand more. The special features were good, but felt a little flat. That’s perfectly fine, I just wanted a little more.
