V/H/S: VIRAL REVIEWED

“V/H/S: Viral” is full of the mini-stories that horror anthology fans have come to love. The documentary aesthetic of a huge chunk of the film is fun. However, a ton of the short stories end abruptly. I don’t know why, but as I get older…that’s bothering me so much more. The film runs at a quicker pace than the first one, however the horror aspect is dialed back. Sure, it’s there, but I wish people knew what worked as horror anymore. Gore and intrigue aren’t horror. There I go again, being an old man. Give it a shot this Holiday weekend.
