“Swamp Monsters” is what happens when you can convince Cajuns that there are ghosts in their swamp. This first season has the guys fighting against the Grunch, the Honey Island Swamp Monster and the Cajun Werewolf. I will say this after watching 2 hours and 11 minutes of this show. Someone somewhere managed to combine everything I hated about “Paranormal State” and “Duck Dynasty” into one series. Congratulations, guys. This might entertain a few readers, but I can’t recommend this schlock in good faith. Especially since it can’t get even get an HD release on Home Video, while the show regularly broadcasts in rather stunning HD quality.
