“Counting on Birds: Tales of Migration” offers up five hours across two discs of bird watching. Willem Lange will take you through the New England migration of birds between North and South America. He also takes the time to interview enthusiasts who help track and protect the birds. The material is straightforward and Willem Lange is a good enough host. It’s just that you’ve really got to be into birds to keep from going to sleep. The DVD comes with no special features.
