THE PLOT THUS FAR
“It’s time to get back to work for coworkers and roommates, “Adam,” “Blake” and “Ders,” but that also means partying harder than ever before. Comedy Central’s hit, scripted series Workaholics Season 4 is back with all new super fresh episodes. They do their jobs and sometimes they even do them well, but they show up late, leave drunk and always live for the day.even if they don’t know what day it is. Whether they’re hanging out at their house in Rancho Cucamonga or getting ready to rage at a Renaissance Faire, the guys find trouble wherever they go. ”
WHAT WE THOUGHT
“Workaholics” enters its fourth season like a boss. The guys decide to work as clowns, they get Jillian to start living that Kirkland life and they found out that they’re common law married. This was the year where more of the supporting cast interacted with the Dudes and they started to world build on their own. Rancho Cucamonga is starting to feel like this bizarre land that rivals the Bluths’ San Diego suburb or Raising Hope’s Natesville.
The Dudes, Jillian, Alice and the world of Rancho Cucamonga has filled a void in my comedy loving environment. I could watch them do anything now, as I buy the characters. Having heart and a sense of community informs comedy so much for me. I like it when people can co-exist, push each other’s buttons and yet find a way to improve by the episode’s end. Also, they respect the Koi fish. That’s all that matters to me.
The Blu-Ray comes with outtakes and deleted scenes as the special features. The Dolby TrueHD 5.1 master audio track kicks in where needed. Hell, the opening rap track plays so loud in it. The 1080p transfer holds up for a modern comedy. What’s weird is that I thought I saw something I wasn’t supposed to in the back of the orgasmic birth scene. People should message me if they saw it too! In the end, I’d recommend a purchase.
