Karate champion Michael Rivers (Mathis Landwehr) has just won the last tournament of his career when he is approached by shady businessman Ron Hall (Matthias Hues) with an offer to fight in an illegal, deadly Kumite in Bulgaria. Michael declines, but soon learns that his daughter Bree has been kidnapped, leaving him no choice but to enter the deadly tournament to rescue her.
Upon arriving in Bulgaria, Michael discovers that he is not the only fighter whose loved one has been taken.
