Kiah McKirnan stars as Jonny Baptiste, a troubled youth sent to live with her estranged Aunt Hildie, played by Silverstone. On becoming an adult, Jonny experiences a radical supernatural metamorphosis called Forevering. As girls then start disappearing from her new school, a mythically feral Jonny sets out after the perpetrator.
With its strong female lead and blend of horror, coming-of-age drama, and real-world topics, Perpetrator promises to shake up the genre. Reeder, known for her acclaimed arthouse horror fare, has assembled a stellar cast including Christopher Lowell and Melanie Liburd.
