“Singularity Principle” is nearly 90 minutes long. It also plays like your college Physics professor got a hair up his ass to make a fiction narrative film. The film was written and directed by renowned physicist Dr. David Deranian and the attention to detail shows. However, it never finds its feet as a compelling Sci-Fi story. I’ve seen alternate realities and perspective shifts handled far better.
The DVD comes with no major special features. The A/V Quality is on par with most indie flicks. As I took three turns at the film, I found myself compelled to try and find a way where it could work as a cult Sci-Fi film. Unfortunately, I could never get over the fact I felt like I was watching an entertaining lecture. Does that make sense? I’ve got to give the film credit for making me think.
