WHAT WE THOUGHT
“A Very Vegas Christmas Special” is a compilation of the shows that dominated the Holiday 2013 season for History Channel. Well, it was the scripted shows that were currently running on the time. People had to take a step back from getting ripped off at the Pawn Shop for Rick Harrison and his buddies to get together. Rick Dale and Danny Koker show up to kiss the rings, as they share what were the highlights of their shows. Basically, it’s Dad TV for Middle Aged Men that miss the heyday of A&E.
If you don’t care for the shows crossing over here, then you won’t care for this special. But, this is a program for gearheads and capitalists that like exploiting poor people. You know what you’re getting by looking at the guys on the cover. There’s no reason that this should be your introduction to them. Flip on your TV during the middle of the day and learn something about the commerce kings that are dominating the new Nevada.
The DVD comes with bonus episodes as the special features. The A/V Quality is pretty sharp for standard definition. The Dolby 2.0 surround track is average. Basically, you’re getting a slightly cleaned up version of a standard definition broadcast. Sorry to the people that watched it on History HD. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase to fans.
