“Out of the Vault” is a four hour compilation of the best Nickelodeon cartoons available to license out to Shout Factory. Based on upcoming solicits I received, this seems to be a new Holiday tradition. I welcome it, even though this material came out after my day. My wife enjoys the material and I’m willing to say that there’s a fanbase out there that still wants to collect these shows on DVD.
After all, you guys are still blowing up our Angry Beavers and Aaah! Real Monsters reviews. If you’re looking for special features, that’s not going to happen here. But, the A/V Quality is strong enough for standard definition. If you have kids coming up for the Holidays, this might be fun background noise for a party. But, do younger kids still watch these shows?
