Mega Time Squad Destroyed My Sense of Time [Review]

Mega Time Squad holds up as a fun foreign oddity that plays with science fiction ideas. However, not much has changed since my first review. I enjoyed the special features included with the Blu-ray. Hell, having a commentary track that explained some of the pseudo level Primer style mechanics made me happy. Yes, I’m one of those weirdos with a fractured suspension of disbelief. It’s not the worst thing, but I like having answers.

The deleted scenes and trailer are a fun touch. But, the transfer still feels a hair darker than I expected. I guess that’s to help smooth out some of the visual FX. It’s a bit of bother for me on an aesthetic level, but I get why it’s been done. If you dig this sort of thing, then it’s worth checking out.
