Apple TV+ has picked up the Spanish-language romantic comedy Love You to Death (“A muerte”), a new series from filmmaker Dani de la Orden (“Casa en Flames”). Starring Verónica Echegui (“Orígenes secretos”) and Joan Amargós (“Show Yourself”), the seven-episode show lands on Apple TV+ Wednesday, February 5 with two episodes, then rolls out weekly through March 12.
Raúl (Amargós) reconnects with Marta (Echegui) after his heart cancer diagnosis. They were childhood friends, but now Marta is pregnant and fiercely independent while Raúl is on borrowed time. Can Marta break her commitment issues, and can Raúl find life’s biggest love at the worst possible moment?
Love You to Death arrives as part of Apple TV+’s growing Spanish-language lineup that includes “Acapulco,” “Women in Blue” (“Las Azules”), “Land of Women” (“Tierra de Mujeres”), “Midnight Family” (“Familia de medianoche”), and “Tú También lo Harías” (“You Would Do it Too”).
