Jerusalem comes to life in 3D.
“Jerusalem 3D” is a stunning 43 minute long jaunt through the Ancient City. If you enjoy IMAX presentations, you’ll dig what you’re getting here. Benedict Cumberbatch provides the narration on behalf of National Geographic, but it’s easy to be put to sleep by his voice. The 3D transfer is the selling point, as the aerial movements and sleek camera movements creates the best Nat Geo presentation for a documentary like this. You can read my past reviews of their documentaries on the site, but this is rather special.
It’s the first 3D documentary that makes you actually feel like you are there. Well, minus the constant threat of terrorism. The Blu-Ray comes with commentaries, featurettes, trailers, deleted scenes and interviews as the special features. If this sounds up your alley, I’d recommend a purchase.
