Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, has secured the North American VOD rights to the socially-provocative, Gen Z-focused drama “This Must Be the Place”. Starting on August 9, 2024, the film will be available to rent or own on all worldwide digital HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms, as well as on DVD, through Freestyle Digital Media.

“This Must Be the Place” delves into the complex relationship between siblings Benny and Victoria, who are left to fend for themselves in their family home after a series of unfortunate events involving their parents. As polar opposites, the siblings struggle to create a harmonious living environment. The tension escalates when Benny’s non-binary friend, James, unexpectedly needs a place to stay, pushing the siblings to their breaking points. The chaotic night ultimately forces them to confront their differences and find a way to move forward together.
