“Chain of Command” is a conspiracy flick about a soldier trying to find out who murdered his brother. Quicker than you can say Rand Corporation, our hero finds himself deep into the quagmire. Steve Austin shows up without really getting too into himself. Still, I would’ve killed for a scene of Stone Cold trying to order some White Castle in the drive-thru. But, that would have made for a shorter and better film. Seriously, there’s no reason for this film to last longer than 20 minutes. They might as well have called it Padding: The Motion Picture.
The Blu-Ray comes with a trailer gallery as the sole special feature. The A/V Quality is pretty strong for an indie action flick. The 1080p transfer is shaky at best, but the DTS-HD 5.1 master audio track kicks up when needed. Still, that doesn’t save this movie. I hope you rent it before anything else. But, I’m not even pushing a rental.
