THE BLACKLIST: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON REVIEWED
“The Blacklist” returns with its third season. Liz is on the run with Red, as the FBI is staging a manhunt to bring them both into custody. This season suffers from a lot of padding and spending too much time with depressed Red. I get the big punch near the end of the season. However, it doesn’t quite add up as it feels again like more padding. I know that the show is a hit and we have to keep things going. Fans needs something to hold their interest.
That being said, I’m hoping that the show can get more actors like Famke Janssen to do more supporting roles. It’s just we’re at the same spot that “Lost” was during the middle of its third season. However, “Lost” pulled out of its tailspin, but they had an endgame. A show like this could benefit from being finite, as Red and the Cabal can only keep things going for so long. If you enjoy the show, make sure to pick up the Blu-ray. You get a ton of exclusive special features and it’s nice to see SONY use the extra Blu space for more content.
