BLACK ROOM REVIEWED
“Black Room” is a haunted house feature about an evil room that you dare not enter. Of course, it’s the immediate point of focus for a young couple moving into said new home. What follows is a mix of quality gore and nice old school scares that create a surprising horror feature. When I see movies like this touting their horror acting pedigree, I tend to get wary. I don’t need member berries to get me into ghoulish delights. But, somewhere between Lin Shaye doing her best Zelda Rubenstein and Dominique Swain being Peak Swain, I truly love this flick.
